What are 6 Hopeful and Playful Reminders For people struggling before this election?

“In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity.” — misattributed to Albert Einstein

No-one is immune to burnout. Not even Happiness Guru Lauri Santos.

We’re sometimes challenged to maintain a playful perspective and struggle to share what we believe might be worthy of your time and attention. At times like this we lean into A.I. for inspiration and support.

ChatGPT suggests that it pulls from a hodge podge of information and its knowledge is limited to what it was trained on, with a cutoff in 2021.

We kind of look at its output as limited group-think prior to 2021. We were happy to see it spit out the following hopeful and playful reminders for those struggling as the election approaches:

1. Your Voice Matters! – Even if you feel like one drop in a vast ocean, remember it’s drops that make waves. Play with the idea that your vote is a little ripple that can grow into something powerful!

2. Progress is a Dance, Not a Sprint – Change takes time, and like any good dance, it involves a few missteps and pivots. Trust the rhythm, keep moving, and don’t forget to twirl when you can!

3. Community is Your Superpower – You’re never alone in this. Find others who share your values and laugh, vent, or brainstorm together. Sometimes the best political moves come from shared snacks and inside jokes.

4. Focus on What You Can Control – Trying to control everything is like trying to herd cats. Focus on your own actions, your vote, and your mindset. And let the rest of the chaos be… well, entertaining background noise.

5. Laughter is Resistance – When things get intense, find moments to laugh. It’s one of the best ways to reclaim your power and remind yourself that no matter what happens, your joy is non-negotiable.

6. You Have the Power to Start Again – Whether in life or in politics, there’s always another chance to regroup, rethink, and re-engage. Every setback is just an opportunity for a creative comeback—so keep your playful spirit alive!

Stay hopeful, keep playful, and trust that small actions can lead to big changes!

P.S. A Playful perspective is the pinnacle.
