Play & Playfulness in Adulthood
Over many years we have conducted an in-depth survey of people’s perceptions of play and playfulness and the role of these concepts in adults’ lives. Thanks to our friends and co-investigators at FIU, especially Leslie Frazier, Ph.D.
This survey is now closed. We gratefully appreciate and acknowledge the participants who helped us understand the role of play and learning, the impact of play during COVID-19, and the development of a contemporary meaning of play and playfulness for adults and its importance.
This research is advancing our understanding of adult play and playfulness on many levels including as a coping mechanism to improve well-being.
